Hey I'm building a 14s 6p triangle pack out of Samsung 30qs I have purchased from nkon. I have just purchased an arduino spot welder, which should suit my needs just fine.
Just a couple of questions I want to throw out there. I would like to use wide slabs of nickel to cover the whole parallel sets of batteries rather than using thin 10mm nickel with joins everywhere I think this would greatly improve current flow as well. Does anyone know where I can purchase 50mm wide by 0.15 pure nickel roll from or roughly that size?
Also I am looking at buying a BMS from bestech, I would like to only charge to 4.1v per cell to conserve battery life. So will be setting charger to 57.4v. Does anyone know if these BMS's can be set to balance earlier in the charge cycle so the cells are still being balanced? Or any other BMS that can do this?
Can anyone help me out?
