Crystalyte HS4080 72V 50A APM Display kit

HI all am on bus for a long trip and i found some time for update So I added a 6ah 84 v purchased from doc and assembled John in cr way (of thinking)

So I disassemble all 25 packs and i have charged them with an old 12v car battery charger .i found 8 packs with no dead cells have of them was recovered from 0 volt

John said never disassemble good cell so I shuffle! I have connected them with tab to tab with cable (no solder them) and tire up(cable ties) and because this was so easy i added 20 small cables to parallel the 2p into 4p.

I after testing the battery alone and amazed from the performance and ballace of the cells I parallel the battery to my main pack

I would not recommend using any cells that had been discharged below 2v. Yes, I'm aware some people seem to have good luck, I would not risk it.
 
Yep, listen to LFP. I never bothered with any Konion cell pairs that arrived below 2V after I tested some and they had low capacity. What did you do to test capacity in order to make strings of matched blocks? That's a critical part of my minimum work method. If your pack is simply strings of blocks that took a charge, please don't associate my name with it. BTW, all of my Konion packs are still alive, though I did need to rework one 2p string, so it works. I shortcut the process as much as possible, so bypassing steps I outlined in the past is likely to result in a short lived pack.

I only have had, hard check the capacity of each 84v 2p string and then the 4 p which easy delivered 6 ah and 70amps of power.
I will continue to check the voltage of each to 4.2 3 ah pair.

Some update guys, the bike is working great I can do 80 fast km consuming almost 2 kwh.
I added one more BBQ temp sensor directly to fets i think the max allowed temp is 80 celsius ,

After cooling the motor with plain water for the whole winter it was time for more power and that means new axle .

150 phase amps and rising.... cables from both sides
 
My sapin spokes were made to the desired length from a local shop and they lasted a month . Only factory made spokes from now on.

Two cross wheel building from a friend, finger cross that will last.

Guys this torque arms are super cheep super strong easy to install easy to operate and the screws in the axle are not longer needed . Thanks jonch in cr for the influence.

i bet it will last finding the first "bump" in the street....
the angle of spokes....donno....looks a bit......."inclined"....

it was i photo i saw from a John's post i don't remember but i can assure you that they can take tons of acceleration and regen.


P.S i hope i will finish my water cooling system this weekend, it will be very useful for you also!10kw !!! :!:
 
Water cooling rocks! you simple cannot overheat the motor! from 84C to 67C in 35 sec . The temp sensor is at the upper side of the stator(not at the winding) near to the halls sensor , the water drops at the lower side of the stator. So far so good.

By the time I've set the 24fet infinion to 3x (80bat *3=phase 240amps ) this happened.

This wheel built came with a warranty, so for the next one, i paid only the motorcycle spokes (24euro).
this seem to be bullet proof.
