I was at Eurodisney, and we watched the Grand Parade. There were some cast members whizzing around, twirling, swooping ... obviously on something on wheels, and electrically propelled, but what I couldn't guess, is how they are controlled.
It has to be controlled by the rider, otherwise they wouldn't be able to predict the swoops and whirls and would fall off. But I couldn;t see how they were controlling it. I think I saw both their arms (but one of those could be fake, I suppose, with the real arm inside and controlling). I can't see how they'd be able to control it with their feet, because with all the movement, surely that wouldn't work?
So does anyone know, or can guess, how it's done?
