Wow...... the "air lubrication system" I think is for injecting air bubbles under the hull to help break it loose on take off, very cool. Nose gear steering controlled by wires.....OK, I have electric steering on my car so why not?!
Hybrid use on an aircraft makes a lot of sense, I'd love to have something akin to my Plug in Prius's power train in my airplane, seriously. Lots of power, by both the ICE and batteries, for take off, then super economical cruising on a down sized and more efficient ICE. Re gen while descending? Sure, but it's going to kill the glide ratio.
