Mongoose Cx 450w24v weight limit 228 lbs, 80 lbs bike. Frnt disk brake had
Currie Technologies motor 450 watts mounted in front of rear wheel bike featured 2 chain drive system.
In it's original form the bike had horrid performance very weak power. It was made for
kids but can handle the weight of adults 228 LBS and under I'm about 5'8'' tall
not to comfortable to peddle feels cramped and the seat is too flat, I was mostly riding it standing up.
For my short 8 mile cruising. Cant wait to get it rolling in its new form.


Leaf Motors upgrade 1000w kit. I still need batteries,
the cost of kit was $288+tax and shipping from China total $428.
Plan to add headlight and reupholster seat for more comfort.
With new kit hoping to reach 25 mph+ and 30 mile range. I purchased bike from
CL in 2012 for $260 the top speed was 15mph and maybe 7 mile range
SLA 24v batteries, replaced batteries 3 0r 4 times though out the bikes
former life. Now its reborn more powerful than ever.
I want to cover the battery box in black vinyl the original box has
grooves and fins I need it flat for vinyl covering and adhesive.
Covered the rear triangle and forks, crank arms in blk electrical tape.
Looks a little meaner with blacked out parts.
