Hi
I have a Montague foldable mountain bike that I fitted with a Nine continent motor, Nine continent 27amp controller and a ping 48V 20amp battery.
It has been running fine for ½ year.
The other day it was suddenly not working anymore.
I disasembled it and found inside the controller the small +V wire that need positive to turn on the controller, was pulled out of the soldering on the board.
I resoldered it to the board, but it was still not working. I then realised I had soldered it to the wrong pin putting positive voltage to a wrong point on the board.
I then soldered it to the correct point on the board and got the bike working again.
My problem is now that the bike has lost power. Before it was doing app. 37 km/h now it is doing only app. 30 km/h. It has clearly lost power both on acceleration and on top speed.
I measured the voltage from the battery. It is nearly 60 volts of the charger.
I have a switch to get the controller down in "legal" range. Operating this switch would before brind the top speed down to app 25km/h. Now it is way below 20km/h
Can I have destroyed something in the controller or can it be a loose connection in the wiring????

Forgot to write that the controller is sensorless.
Does anybody have an idea where to start to look...please.
