but what would be good for a bike? oil coil or air coil?

I have been wanting to build a bike like this for many years. Now that I finally saw a bike with a long shock on the rear, I think it can be done.

Most motorcycle people know about how long-trail will make a bike turn in a wide radius, not many know how to make it turn in a small radius. Sugar Bear invented this chopper front end independently from Mark Stonich that invented ½” trail for recumbent bicycles with 60 degree head tubes. ½ inch would be zero trail after the compression of the tire. I like the 40 to 50 degree angles because “if ain't long, it's wrong”.

It may take me a few years to build it, so feel free to build one your self. But do not forget the tiller effect and how it counter balances the front wheel by helping hold it straight. With a springy front end the trial will increase when hitting a pot hole that could destabilize the front wheel. Also the center of gravity should be one third of the distance towards the front, if possible, just to help the weight balance.

I do need advice about what long adjustable shock to use on the rear. And the drive wheel should be a bit farther back to facilitate more room for a mid mount mid-drive motor like the Cyclone Mini.

I think it would be worth the effert to build one of his forks.
