Signalab v5.1 totally lost on this

My friend has this BMS and he wants to hook it up to his batteries for his bike. I am not 100% sure what I’m even dealing with here and I know nothing about electrical so I am a complete idiot on this one and I need to explain in Laymans terms . How does this hook up and what are all these things on it? Does anyone have any schematics for this board itself? That would be very helpful!

Are the cells in his pack LiFePO4? Most of the SL BMS I've seen were only for that chemistry...the one in your pic doesn't have a visible label on it to tell.
