Hi - I'm buying a battery spot welder from aliexpress

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-9kw-220V-Spot-Welder-709A-with-Soldering-Iron-Station-Spot-Welding-Machine-for-18650-16430/32614454614.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.FmEnsW

Im in the USA. The seller has said they can send me welder with a UK 220v plug. See attached image please of plug styles.

It seems that in the US there are multiple versions of a 220v outlet. What adapter will I need ?

Or should I keep it simple and use the 110v version ?

Thank you

I have a 110V version that did a weld or two...don't really remember exactly how many, but no more than a few. And blew a fuse. I didn't understand Aliexpress rules and released the funds so of course I didn't get much as far as a replacement. A new PCB and a few small parts they thought might have blown was all I got after dozens of emails. My battery supplier even tried to intervene as they are both in the same city in China. But the complexity of repair was beyond my scope, so $220 and a kg of nickel plated (useless to a good build) sits in a box in the basement junk pile.

That said the biggest problem with 110V version are improperly sized circuit fuses. I don't remember the rating needed. 220V was a pain in the ass. It required I work in a space I didn't like or doing more electrical work to move or add a plug.

Thankfully I got in on Jakov's battery powered welder. NOW I'm happy.
