USB-C or Hdmi connector for hall sensors?

Hello,

I need a quick way to disconnect the motor and accessories from the controller (as I am planning to carry the controller in the battery bag all together).

I thought on using a USB C connector, as it has 12 pins on the upper side, and another 12 at the bottom, I could use 2 pins (one on each side) for every hall sensor wire. I initially thought on using an hdmi connector as well. I am still thinking which option would be more reliable. Specially for the hall sensors.

I would still have more pins on the connector for the display, PAS, and other purposes.

What do you think? any major problem?

I am still looking for another connector for the phases wires (3 wires). I am thinking on XLR, or Powercon. Any other idea?

Thanks!

XLR would be good for what you plan. Yet I find it's not good to fit controller and battery in a bag, neither disconnect often between controller and motor. I mount the controller in full air flow and use overkill individual connectors for each wire, or just weld them all after it's proved reliable.
