I'm wondering what you are all using for tires? What is the best 26 inch tire for a front hub motor?
Post a link to them if you can.
Thanks.

Maybe better merged with whatever the last "tire" thread was, or one of these others?

(doesn't anybody *ever* read anything that's been posted before, or does everyone just have to ask the same questions over and over and over and over and over and over again?)

I guess that makes DOT tires an overweight, inefficient, shoddy and imbalanced joke.
I remember paying $150 each and more for moto tires, by the way. My favorite bicycle tires cost $30 retail and last a whole lot more miles.
- among other things as i recall - like spoked wheels.Chalo said:That's all good background information, and I think all the models mentioned are still available.
There's a strong bias towards pavement-oriented tires in those links, which is consistent with my strong bias towards riding on pavement.
Depends on the tires. I rarely use up the tread thickness of my tires anymore; usually I ditch them because the sidewalls have failed or are looking risky, or else because I got a nasty cut through the casing that I don't want to patch with a boot. Some tires, like RiBMo, I have yet to wear out a single one of. I've had a number of them for years, and I still have all of them.markz said:Chalo - How long do your tires last, distance wise?
