Problem with Grin's Slim Throttle (wiring)

Hi guys. I just recently this lovely piece of hardware to replace my existing (and rather clunky) half twist.

It looks good, feels good, but I just can't get the thing to work. At all. I plug it into the same 3 prong JST port as my existing throttle was, but nothing.

I am honestly at a complete loss as to what I could possibly be doing wrong and would appreciate any insight before I contact their tech support.

All Grin products are designed to plug into CA2/CA3/Grin Controllers/etc. You don't mention what you are connecting to.

Here's the pin out from the sale page - if you aren't connecting to a Grin device, make sure it matches.

Ah. I suspected as much. And no, you're right, I should have also mentioned that I am connecting to a generic controller without a CA.

Switched the ground with the sense wire. All good now.
