Hey guys
Looking to decent used bike to start with my first conversion.
Which would be best to go with.
I'm located in Canada
Kit will be Bafang BBS02 or Tongsheng TSDZ2B
Giant Roam - seems to be a few different version on kijiji
Open to any other suggestions

Which bike for Convetion
Re: Giant Roam-
So you are in Vancouver.
Any bike will do that fits you and you enjoy riding.
Are those bikes are hybrids?
Are you commuting to work or just to the train station?
Look at pinkbike.com buy and sell for used bicycles, Kijiji is good.

Toronto Canada
It will be mostly for work commute and biking around town.
None of them are hybrids
Is that needed?

Make either of the giants, which ever one has the frame that fits you best, into a commuter. Add a rear rack, preferably one for carrying panniers, and then just a little bit of something fastened to the bottom of it, wrapping down the seatpost, gets you a rear fender. Add on mtb front fender, and you have a nice commuter bike.
You can run without fenders, but you will find it worth it where you are to have them. Personally, I'd choose a full fendered bike for a wet city commute, one where the front fender rides closer to the tire.

Re: Which bike for Convetion
I prefer fenders even here in Phoenix, because sometimes there's water from leaks or construction, even when there' been no rain for months.
When the water itself isn't a problem, the very fine splattery mud is (made from the everpresent dust).
And when it actually does rain....
