I've been wanting to share info about this project with the group, but I wanted it to fly first. This is my new plane the E-Gull! A conversion of the awesome ThunderGull combined with a Zero Motorcycles powerplant. It flies even better than I hoped!

What battery are you using, from the Zero of something else? And what is your flight time/range?
 
I was always impressed by this setup at Oshkosh.

Outperforms just bout everything on the field. It is unfortunate that Zero's lawyers made it difficult for the designer to offer it as a ready to go kit.

So sick! I would love to hear stats on power as well. Well done!
 
Was that 400amps at about 100v? IF so 40kw max and about 10kw for cruise.
So it looks like your 25min flight took about 5 to 6 kw.
What battery capacity do you have.?
Looks and sounds great.

Just saw an E-Gull at Twin Oaks Air Park in Oregon. I assume that's a different one ?
