Anyone know of any good places to buy bike fenders from? I rode home on some wet roads last night and I got all kinds of road grime spray on me and the bike. I went by walmart and looked online at kmart, but they didn't have anything. I recently bought my lights from a local bike shop figuring I would support a small business, but they turned out to be twice the price of kmart. I'm not into supporting a company that is completely ripping me off.

+1 to MEC. They sell fenders like these, for <20$:

They're good except the mudflap-like device on them, it's essentially useless, so gotta DIY something.

Other places to get these kinda things:

Mathurin's suggestions are good ones. I use the Planet Bike fenders on both my ebike and road bike. They make a world of difference. Linky to what I use that works well... http://ecom1.planetbike.com/7006.html

Thanks for your input guys. Those hardcores are looking really good. From the prices I have been finding, it looks like I will get my $5 membership back on just this one purchase. I think I will join mec and buy these.

Once again, you guys are great. Thanks.

$12.00, $5.99 shipping, no tax, make these the best bicycle bargain in awhile. http://www.rei.com/product/736678

I've been using these six or eight months with no problems and no water in my face or on my back.

Here's a dumb question: How do you mount bike fenders on suspension forks with no fender mounts? Seems like people are running the fenders with no linkage?? Most people already have rear racks so how are you mounting the rear fender?

I bought one of those planet bike clip on fender. Then i drill a hole through my rear rack and my fender where they meet. Put a screw through and that's its. The clip provide alignment and the rack hold the fender in place.
