Hi.
I just ordered a CA3 for my 72080 but 3 of the six wires for the connector are not connected.
I think i saw a setailed description somewhere here but can't find it.
Can anybody please help me find out where to solder the wires?
If you mean that the connector on the sabvoton doesn't have the wires you're after...well, AFAIK the sabvoton doesn't have a CA-DP connector at all.
I don't know what the Sabvoton's connector is actually meant for, but if you just plug the CA (or whatever) into it, you may damage both the CA and the Sabvoton.
There is info on Grin's site in the CA information pages or the CA manual, etc., on which wires in the CA-DP connector need to go to what *functions* in the controller, but every controller is different (even different versions of the same model/brand, much less different models of different brands), so there isn't a way to specify exactly where to wire everything.
There are some threads on adding a CA-DP connector to various controllers that may help guide you, like these:

If your Sabvoton uses a resistive battery shunt, then when you are done you will need to follow the procedure for calibrating the CA shunt resistance, after you've determined the resistance of your Sabvoton's shunt (there are procedures for doing that in the manual/site for the CA, and here on ES, as well, depending on the equipment you have available).
If your Sabvoton uses a voltage-output hall-effect current sensor on the battery line, you might be able to adapt that to be readable by the CA, but I don't know that it could be directly connected to the shunt line without damaging the CA's shunt amplifier. You might have to use the external CA-SA shunt, plugged into the CA-DP connector on your CA, which then also has thick wires that must go in series from your battery to your controller's battery input.
In many cases it is easier to just start with the CA-SA model, with it's external shunt and wheel sensor. (you can buy the wheel sensor and shunt separately for an existing CA-DP model).
