I’ve used these for 50v

and even then I feared some kid will stick something in and blow it up, but now
going to do 86v and worried they will blow their finger off. looking for something that can do maybe 13 amps and similarly small

If you want a kid to not stick their finger in it, make sure it doesn't resemble a nostril.

How about if you have some separation between the two conductors, so they need to work harder to short it?

This seems the smallest that’s known to be safe. Any other smaller or cooler options?

That's better since it's polarized, so protected from yourself as well.

It might be another story if they plug their iphone charger into it. Maybe something polarized that doesn't resemble a wall outlet.

If they do that that’s ok w me and I think will blow the circuit (their phone) in an instant. Just a moment of high power output and they shouldn’t have their phone in class anyway.

It's funny that kids nowadays have figured out, if they're under 18, their parents pay for their mistakes. So a lesson for them...that you pay for.

They’re not my kids and don’t have any, just in my middle school class, but yea I see that. These kids don’t work or ride bikes. It’s a different world than was for me.
