Hall speedometer wiring?

Hello.
I have recently upgraded my controller to a Votol em50-4 which runs on a CAN or one-lin protocol, so my tachometer is not working.
There are some settings in the app that makes the controller simulate hall signal, but when that is turned on my tacho shows speed of 5km/h no matter if the wheel is spinning or not.
Buying another speedometer will take around 45 days to arrive.
I've heard that those "old" Hall tachos can be connected directly to the hall sensor wire and that it will work.

Is there anyone here that can confirm that before I destroy my tacho?

Yes, usually you just wire one of the hall sensor wires to the tacho and it works. You will need to adjust a potentiometer to get the proper wheel diameter dialed in.

But it is my tacho that came with the bike from the factory, it should know the circumference.
Well in this case there should be no problem at all.

There is always a problem of some sort. Tacho does not work on the hall sensor but on the phase line (any of the 3). Problem is that it's working from 30 upwards, and when I stop it goes to 52km/h (wheel not spinning) after I add some throttle and reach speed od 30 it showing speed correctly. Now what do I do?

That's weird, could you take some pictures of the tacho and how it is connected?
Here is a photo of a tacho, but the wiring is all in the tank, have to go to work with it. Wiring is factory 6 wires, positive 12v, negative 12v, wire for left indicator, right indicator, lights and one (grey) wire for speedo. I have only connected the grey wire, everything else is stock and wired from the factory. I did try to connect the grey wire to the hall sensor and it was only displaying 2km/h (driving or not) I guessed it was obviously not enough voltage form the hall and pushed my luck trying to connect it to the phase directly and it worked. It is some Swedish bike, never heard of the brand "FREEV", model EVX1000. Everything on it is different than my other Coco's. Picture attached is displaying tacho when wheel is at a full stop.

Very weird, the wiring description seem to fit the traditional wiring for any normal tachometer.
I'm not sure what is going on, usually you just plug any of the hall sensor on it and call it a day.

Plugging the phase directly was a very risky move, you're kinda lucky things didn't blow up lol.

Sorry, I can't help much more as it's something weird I never encountered. Hopefully someone else will have a clue as to what's going on

I have found the issue, but not the solution. When I turn the key on, there is no voltage on the phase wires, after giving some throttle the voltage comes on and the tacho starts working, but when I release the throttle and wheel stops, there is still voltage on the phase wires, that is why tacho is showing speed of 51km/h and there is some hissing sound from the motor while stopped. Had to be some mess with the programing just need to find what.
