I bought some generic Makita BMS on AliExpress, where it is advertised that they work with Makita batteries, models BL1815, BL1830, BL1860, LXT400 and BL1850 (link is here: https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005...t_main.25.60831802R0wmcd&gatewayAdapt=glo2bra ). I would like to know if these BMS (PCB boards) can be used on my Makita BL18120 batteries. I know that Makita doesn't have original BL18120 batteries, but that's how Chinese sellers call these 18V 5S4P batteries (5 cells in series and 4 cells in parallel). I assume that if these BMS can be used with Makita 18V 1P, 2P and 3P batteries, then they could also be used on my 4P batteries. Am I right?

You are right, I can see no reason it would not work.

You could even do 100P, would be a rather large battery though...

Are you shure your charger can charge more then 7Ah.
I have read that the chinese 21700 8Ah/10Ah and 12Ah packs do reset the charger to get the fully charged.
