Looking for an electronics hobbyist/technician in Colchester to help with an EV diagnostic puzzle!I have a 2019 Govecs Pro Cargo electric scooter. The 72V traction battery is fully healthy and charges fine, but the bike won't drive due to an ECU communication error / CAN-bus fault preventing the throttle signal from processing. Standard bike garages won't touch it because it's purely a digital/electronics issue. Happy to pay for someone's time if they have experience tracing wiring faults, testing controllers, or diagnosing EV communication lines!.
I have a bike where the motor is getting main power, but the ECU isn't sending the 'go' signal. The previous mechanic found a heavily corroded connector down by the footboard but couldn't fix the communication fault. I need an electrical specialist to trace the signal or check the ECU
Anyone that can help? stopped working and i noticed a loose cable but i cant find where to connect it, neither the garages but they dont do electri bikes, im sure is something easy for a savvy person.
I have a 2019 Govecs Pro Cargo electric delivery scooter that has become a non-runner. Standard petrol bike garages won't touch it, so I'm looking for some advice from the EV electronics experts here. The Symptoms:- The main traction battery is fully healthy and charges completely fine. - The bike turns on, but it will not throttle or engage the drive.- The diagnostic points to an ECU communication error / CAN-bus line fault between the controller and the throttle/display.Has anyone dealt with the CAN-bus wiring or controller pinouts on the 2019 Pro Cargo models? Any advice on where to start probing with a multimeter to trace this communication blackout would be highly appreciated! Based in Colchester, UK. Thanks in advance!
