ypedal I believe all of the chain tensions and sprockets are set up just right. The heat could not have been an issue I was riding in 50 degree days.

Lightfoot very much is getting cought in the middle. I really like Lightfoot bikes and beleive them to be the best on the market. The only thing Lightfoot may have done is to be more receptive to my needs. They have been very quiet and somewhat unresponsive.

My gasoline bike is noisy vibrates and is all around uncomfortble to ride. The electrics are quiet smooth and a pleasure to spend time on. If you don't mind rattling and rolling get the gas. If you want an enjoyable comfortble ride stay with the electric.

Ecospeed sent me a new motor and controller. I am suppose to get them tomorrow. I will say Ecospeed has been fast with their response.

It seemed to run fine except the last 2 times I applied the throttle it made a very slight grinding noise. A couple of times I hooked the battery up just to trouble shoot. It sometimes gives a slight jump when I give it the throttle then nothing.
