They probably changed the controller with the new type of motor.I belive the earliest had a bafang 250w cst motor,mine had Dapu m155 motor.Screw on motor cover.Very good low end torque.The latest have another type of motor with a bolt on motor cover.Looks like a Bafang swx02 motor or copy.I also...

My Neo cross 250w had 36 volt 20a controller orginal.Dont remember the controller I used.Can the orginal take 48volt ?.Anyway big difference in speed and power at 48 volt 20a.About 30% increase.

Imo its the best ebike motor available, people seem to have forgot about this motor and by all kind of new weak shit that overheat or breaks down easily.Stock program made my motor terrible,so usually programing is importent to get the right impression of this motor
