My new 2013 Build + Video and small burnouts p2

the throttle isn't connected to the speedict, the pas sensor is ;) see the diagram I've made on page 1 (the throttle goes to the controller overriding the speedict input using a diode) the reason for this is: I've found the throttle input not working to well in my case so I don't use it...

Wi-fi distributed bms? Has anyone found one and used it?

Speedict is working on a bluetooth bms, they have early pics of it on their facebook page

    Let's talk about brakes

go for the saints ;-) they can take a lot more heat I've used slx in the past and they started to leak between the pistons due to abusive usage (mosly heat) now I have 4 piston saints and they hold up very good + they have endless stopping power

Anyone have aggressive confontations with pedestrians?

oww yes, when I pass pedestrians with a kid and the kid jumps in front of my bike @ 15km/h the kid gets the blame from the parents and when I pass pedestrians with kids @ 6km/h I get the blame for riding to fast -_- then they start yelling and swearing at me in front of their kids lol I...

A strange HS3540 noise? (audio file attached)

perfectly normal ;) don't always believe what the guy @ Clyte europe tells you

    HS3540 @ 48V freewheel speed of 72km/h??

that freewheel speed is normal for your voltage, it rather indicates that everything is fine with your motor the more amps, the more noise the motor makes ;)

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

the HT will consume less amps at the same speed (in theorie but i could be wrong) but since you'll be using 24S Lifepo.... the HS motor would be overkill  you'll be going 100km/h with the HS  so for 24S lifepo, the HT motor would be perfect! loads of torque for less amps + a...

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

yup for long range the HT should be better ;-) youll be riding more efficient

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

hs3540 @74V off the charger i get between 70 and 80km/h with a 26inch wheel my HT3525 still has the groove axle

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

with enough amps you'll get the torque you need out of a HS3540 with plenty of speed  mine does power wheely's ;) but keep an eye on the temp tho, I wouldn't do this if there are a lot of hills, just for quick standing stops if you want to outrun kids on mopeds

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

not sure about that, I think it's the same all I've ridden so far is a HS3540 @ 60 amps with peaks of 80+

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

told you so :P they are utter garbage! I've been thinking to drill out the holes and fit decent low profile M5 hexes (if M5 is possible at least) M6 will be to big still have to take a look at it tho, I've only tried the removal on my spare HT3525 but since it is a spare motor I don't really...

    New Crystalyte Motor series (HT35 / HS35 and HT24 / HS24)

yes indeed, the screws are VERY low quality and quarter of them need to get drilled out due to damage from the assy line if you want to open up the motor

Which controller for HS3540 Crystalyte motor?

between 70 and 80 km/h, depends on the wind, I've only managed to hit 80 once but that was slightly downhill

Which controller for HS3540 Crystalyte motor?

I'm just careful on the throttle when there are people around ;) running a modded 18FET infineon with HS3540 @ 74v pulling 6KW max but mostly i run around 25-30km/h without much noise consuming only 250Watts in case the cops show up i see that you are also from Belgium, are you using your...
