18s build with 2x ECityPower bms (6s and 12s) in series

Hi ; after putting this bms (https://bmsbattery.com/bmspcm/330-smart-bms-513-cells-in-series-bms-pcm.html#/212-discharge_current-20_40a) on a 12s battery from a chevy volt pack, I want to make a 18s setup so putting two in series. The bike has a 500w controller. On the charge side, I have 3x...

Stolen battery replacement - case, plug, etc. SLA to Lithium

If you are crafty enough, you could put 45ah/6s block from a chevy volt pack and a bms like https://bmsbattery.com/bmspcm/330-smart-bms-513-cells-in-series-bms-pcm.html and you could ride long rides. I have one of those packs in montreal if you want

    bms IC 2016

Hi ; I am researching chips to make a digital bms... It should be interfaceable with arduino and do up to 24s ; found some info on http://liionbms.com/php/bms_chips_options.php, also found some examples with code for oz890 and LTC6802 with arduino, learned LTC has a newer ltc6811. Anyone did a...

just found this out of the datasheet ; good info to plug 2 in series

connections for? EcityP Smart S5-13 BMS

thanks for the info :) ; I have a couple chevy volt packs that I would like to use at 18s, 24s or maybe 30s, and am thinking of building a battery analyst with sim-card theft-alarm and other features.

connections for? EcityP Smart S5-13 BMS

The batteries I use are big and overspected (I ride 500w e-bikes) ; LV can be managed by controller and it will not draw the 245A the pack is able to (it's fused at 60a) , charging voltage/amperage can be managed by my meanwells. I only want to ballance and report cell voltage like so : I...

connections for? EcityP Smart S5-13 BMS

Thanks exco ; I actually like the oz890 chip, especially for it's possibility to report battery details to an arduino, I have a 20s with konions and a 18s with chevy volt batts. Is a dual oz890 bms available? I'll try to contribute to designing and testing dual ecityp smart s5-13 bms

Thanks a lot for the link ; I will read and contribute on that thread instead

connections for? EcityP Smart S5-13 BMS

what about using 2 of those bms's in series? Finding a bms that does 18s and 20s is hard... thanks

    bms in series

the thing with those bms is that the ox890 chip can be interfaced with arduino easily, and, with the ballancing feature, it's the main thing i want for my monitoring system. bestech ballancers are nice, but I also want to have some data displayed on a lcd, or even create a new pcb using those chips

thanks for the info ; modding a fet can be done... have you done it yourself?

    bms in series

Hi ; searching for links to know how to plug 2 https://bmsbattery.com/bmspcm/330-smart-bms-513-cells-in-series-bms-pcm.html#/212-discharge_current-20_40a in series for a 18s and 20s setups (would do up to 26s). I know I saw a page about it but search didnt show it to me. Actually, I have no...

    Greentime controllers

You can always add wires that go to the corresponding pad on the pcb to customize your controller ; I recommend checking where each wire goes to before relying on the wire's color (not that greentime isn't constant on their wire colors)...

    Greentime controllers

thanks whatever ; antitheft is nice to have... the picture was in this thread... some good info too... the rest was just logic and opening it up

    anti-theft signals to controller

the greentime I've got has a brown-blue-purple wired plug for anti-theft (anti-theft devices also need voltage from batteries) brown goes to w pad (a phase), so I assume it's for motor sensing blue goes to a3 (lock motor) purple goes to vcc...
