This is exactly what I built for my A123 packs, here is a pic where you can see the boards. It is very useful, and very simple to use.

I have a stingray chopper with a X5304 laced to a 3inch rim, from what I see in my wheel, I think a 4 inch rim could fit. here is my chopper, there you could see the laced X5304, it seems you could go an extra inch wide and dont loose wheel integrity...

My X5304 is very quiet, fast and torquey, but it is heavy.

I have the same charger, for anything other than 10S, I shave the positive side guide (is the little thing in the shape of an arrow) of the balance connector, and plug the connector starting at the negative side of the connector in the charger, and it work fine.
