Looking for 24” front wheel geared hub

I briefly looked at Grin website yesterday, but I had no idea of all the products a services they provide, especially motor lacing. The only info I can't find is the speed limiter. Is it the controller that regulates speed? I plan on pushing the limits of AZ law so I want to make sure it has a...

Looking for 24” front wheel geared hub

I don't plan on syncing or linking the two motors in any way. I want my mid drive pedal assist to work as is and ad a new motor to the front wheel with a throttle.

Looking for 24” front wheel geared hub

Not sure what 36H is but I have no desire to lace a motor to a rim. I also want to keep my existing front wheel as is. Not sure why, but I do.

Looking for 24” front wheel geared hub

I currently own a Benno Boost E 10D pedal assist bike that I want to add a front motor to. I don’t need much power as I already have the pedal assist, 250 watts would be best. I require it to have a top speed of 20mph to conform with Arizona law. I want it mounted to a 24” front rim. The tires...

I received a 1500 dollar grant to build an ebike. Advice re

There are several good places to buy hub motors and ebikes.ca is one of them, but there is only one Cycle Analyst (CA) and ebikes.ca makes them. This could be one of the most important pieces for your project. You can program the CA so the motor won't run over your 20mph speed limit and it can...

Ping batteries in series (version 2.5)

Thanks fechter! You caught me in the middle of replying. Yes, I had a simple typo on the right battery. It was late last night when I drew it. Can't wait to get it going. I have the Anderson connectors on order.

Ping batteries in series (version 2.5)

Thanks dogman and nicobie. I have read the thread you referred to and I also have a diagram from Ping. I guess where I am confused is which wires are the controller wires, and which ones are the battery wires. The batteries have 2 red wires that both appear to come from the battery, not the...

Ping batteries in series (version 2.5)

I did not want 72 volts and I did not want to spend the extra money for the additional voltage. Ping did not ding me at all for custom charges. Can we get back to my original post?

Ping batteries in series (version 2.5)

30 volt packs because I did not want to push the limits with a total of 72 volts, and I wanted a bit more speed than I was getting with my old 48 volt battery. 37.5 is the recommended charging voltage for 30 volt packs. I did not pick the voltage for the chargers, Ping did.

Ping batteries in series (version 2.5)

Yes I know this has been discussed over and over again on this forum, but I want to be absolutely sure I am wiring up my new batteries correctly. I also want to post the drawing I made to help out others following a similar path. I have ordered and received two custom 30 volt 15Ah batteries and...

What's this about V3? I only see 2.5's still on the website. Do you know something we don't?

    "Is that thing electric? "

When I first started e-bike commuting I was riding along the canal banks on the way to work. Getting back on the trail after crossing a roadway I threw my chain by jamming my gears too quickly. While I was replacing the chain a mountain biker passed me up, I gave it no thought. When I got back...
