Infineon Controller Connector Question - eBike down!

Hey guys, thought I'd post this question here while I wait for an email back from my supplier.... I have a Nine Contient / Infineon kit with a CA. I modded the controller for regen and used Arctic Silver when I put the beastie back together - might not have been the best choice, but I had three...

    Looking for a controller

I wasn't trying to give him a hard time, just trying to understand the nature of the setup. If you were to run the generator through the gearing, you could have a lot of fun with this setup. I don't think you would get any satisfaction by trying to use the hub motor for regen. I'm pretty sure...

    Looking for a controller

Not sure if your hub motor will do the trick, there's better people on these forums who can answer that. Check out the Infineon controllers and there's a number of suppliers for those... I am getting mine from www.ebikes.ca but there may be a supplier more local to you.

    Pot-Hole nightmares! Tell me yours...

I lived in this town once that the Canadian Broadcasting Company ran a documentary on the size of the potholes we had in town. Frost heaves, potholes and such are just "normal" to most Canadians, at least those that live outside the major centers. Calgary isn't so bad really, roads here are in...

    Looking for a controller

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't see any efficiencies in this setup. Basically, you would have to pedal harder to generate enough power for the hub, which would then assist. Given the inefficiencies in the conversion of mechanical -> electricity -> hub power, you would end up working harder...

Even Newer 4 to 24-cell Battery Management System (BMS)

*taps foot impatiently* After all I've seen and read, this will be my BMS of choice. Luckily I have a month or two before I really need it... I'm wondering about the heat it's going to put out on an extended ride and just how much cooling this little darling is going to need wit 2X6S packs on it.
