TSDZ2 blue nylon gear: failure mode?

I would imagine you get some good range running that low, one thing I really like about the tsdz2's.

TSDZ2 blue nylon gear: failure mode?

It's pretty amazing how much quieter the bbshd is compared to the tsdz2, with much more power.

TSDZ2: Pre-emptive blue nylon gear replacement?

Put a few thousand on a 500w 36v TSDZ2 no issues yet. I was super easy first thousand miles, now I go a bit harder on it but still no issues. I typically travel back roads long distances, hills. No off road stuff. Heavier hybrid bike.

    Geared Hub - Speed Sensor?

I didnt notice the spokes till now, interesting. I am wondering if the wheel is safe to use like this. I am wondering if there is any chance they took a rear standard bike kit and fit it in a front wide shell. Is this possible I wonder?

I noticed when I pulled the display off to put the new one on that the wires looked pulled out of the unit so maybe something pulled out inside. I was 60 miles from home when this...

    vlcd5 issue

I ran into this same issue and looking for a solution. Everything is stock on mine, I just mounted it up and used it quite a lot until this popped up. Everything you describe is what I am seeing. Hopefully you got yours to work, and I am trying to find a solution still.
