    Building out a BBSHD fatbike

Well, long ago I started building my own fatwheel bomber style aluminum frame with shinko 21" enduro tires at techshop. If anybody was a techshop member you know how that ended  , well I lost a lot of stuff in the mad rush out frame/fork. When I started it in 2013 fat bike stuff was...

Unstealthy bomber : The Aluminum Overcast

Got a one of Lyens 24fet 1ok monster controllers Got the cr80 fork mounted and welded up my rear control arm Got a set of 203mm rotors and milled of the rear to fit the cromotor case pattern so I have more room for the wires. Now I have to get brakes I...

Unstealthy bomber : The Aluminum Overcast

Wow, been a while and not much progress till a bit ago. Found my first fork wouldn't fit my moto tire. So I bought what the ebay seller called a kz100 fork for $100 :) when it came in it turned out to be from a kz250 or 350 :( (if anybody need a big fork tell me) So enter a couple of months of...

Unstealthy bomber : The Aluminum Overcast

There is no plan! I building when I get to it :D No really I have a some 2x1x.125 aluminum tube and some 1.75x.75 aluminum bar for the drop out and that will get a .25 thick stainless inset to keep the axle from torquing. Biggest thing I have to do is figure out how I'm mounted a Shimano...

Unstealthy bomber : The Aluminum Overcast

Got my rims in and tires in and the rims were a funky translucent yellow looked like a funky anodizing job must have been why they were $30 but a quick bit of powder coating fixed that little red wagon with some superdurable wet black now to lace some hubs. Funk Fixed On the side note of...

19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

Went with aluminum, just grabbed a set of the pro-wheel 19x1.85" rims off of ebay. Their yellow but they were $35 each and I do have powdercoating oven at TechShop, and a pound of wet black powder, so that can be easily fixed. Now its just to find spokes, what size/length do you guys with...

19" Motorcycle Wheels vs 26" Bicycle Wheels (rim and tires)

I'm really thinking for my bike 19" will be the way to go probably the SR241 in 19x2.75". But what width rim? I've found a set of 19x1.90" steel rims for $19+free shipping each, or I've got the aluminum 19x1.85" for $35+shipping each. Both are not in a color I like so I'm going have to powder...

    Maxium torque turnigy 80-100 130kv?

So if this post is correct, and I run lets say your 220amps at .073Nm/Amp I have 16Nm of torque at 10:1 that would be 160Nm both gearboxes would explode :(

    Maxium torque turnigy 80-100 130kv?

I'm trying to figure out if I have enough gearbox for my latest bad idea :D I have two 80-100's 130kv that I'm going to press the motor shafts out of and then press one long shaft between both motors. Clocking them so the magnets and coils are aligned so that I would have essentially one big...
