Best advice, thx! I have ordered one. I didn't get around to parallel them, didn't want to blow up two chargers and leave myself up the creek without a paddle. I may try when my new one arrives. Thx for all the replies

Agreed, for a lighter motor, torquey, 48ish volts build, I like geared motor, I even like the sound, not hard to have a spare set of gears and clutch handy But for a heavier vetrix, kiwi doing 4 to 5 foot drops, I just didn't want to recommend it, due to not being as abuse proof as a DD
