Well, that sucks. Just another reason to start manufacturing batteries right here in 'Merica!

First off, Apple has made very little to no attempt to increase their battery life on the iPhones. I'm sure I'll enjoy my driving "experience" in the Apple car for the 20 minutes it will last haha. But you know what, if it gets more people thinking about electric vehicles, I'm all for it.

Ford should do what Honda did in 80's with the Civic and Motocompo: The Civic came with a Motocompo so you can park your Civic in the city and ride around on your Motocompo short distances. Ford should include this e-bike in the back of one of their models.

I did buy the batteries directly from the manufacturer. In their defense, they did give me a discount and told me beforehand that they would be sending me batteries in this condition (no sleeve). It was this or I would have had to wait till April when they make the batteries with the sleeves...

Pulled a single cell out of the pack and found that the case is in fact connected internally to ground. I was really hoping that the case was electrically isolated so that I can pull heat out of the pack with more efficiency but I guess I'll have to add insulation to each case with a heat shrink...
