New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I found : too many thermal paste in the motor. It melt with the grease on the gears and make it hard to turn. Cleaning it and apply new grease solved the problem.

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hello, Yesterday I gone to my first "long" ride (about 50kms) and at about half the ride, suddenly, the bike become very hard to use. Even when I go down hill it's look like you use your brakes. While it work well with assistance, without it became a real pain to use. The engine only ride about...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hello, I finally got my motor work. The power (vcc, gnd) wire of thermal sensor was simply inverted :-( On the datasheet of the LM35, the TO92 package pins are show from "bottom", which I didn't notice at the first read. Anyway, even if the motor is a good thing, it lack of power (500W/48V...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

My poor ohmmeter ;-) Anyway I found my fault. I miss-wire the sensor part. I used this one : https://www.digikey.fr/product-detail/fr/texas-instruments/LM35DZ-LFT1/296-35151-1-ND/3640792 Is this correct ? Thank you. Manu

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I checked my sensor plug connexions like this : - with an ohmmeter, I plug one lead at the sensor connector, the other at the 8 pin connector and check continuity between them to assure that I'm correctly connected. I need to check : - 5V pin - GND pin - Throttle pin. And they are correct. The...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I'm happy that the motor have no problem (still not tried it), but I need to figure what is the problem with thermal sensor as I mount it like explained on OSF github... Today I measured voltages at my sensor connector and found 4,37V between +VCC and ground (white wire and black wire) where it...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I'm sorry about disturbance. Removing the thermal sensor (LM35) was the thing to do... The display now catch the motor right after power it up. Ouf ! I'll check tomorrow why this happened and let you know if any question. Thank to anyone who help (and anyone who work hard on this system). Manu

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

This is the cable I've build for display programming : And it wiring (if labels on USB/RS232 dongle are good) : If what is described here (elfnino cable) : https://github.com/OpenSourceEBike/TSDZ2_wiki/wiki/Flash-the-firmware-on-860C-850C-using-bootloader is right, then I should have RX...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I had the same feeling, but then : how can I had program the 860C ? Since "Apt-Burn-Tools V1.4" work, so the TX/RX (my brain). Is there something I can "Sniff" on the RS-232 bus ? Also, when I reflashed the orginal firmware from Eco Cycles, even with my stock VLC5D, I have no communication...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hello, I come here because I tried to fit an TSDZ2 to my bike. I have make a mistake, I didn't test the motor before mod it :-( I have a 860C display, one 1T3 cable from Eco Cycles (8 pins version, like the motor). I had put the heatsink on it, thermal paste in it, mount the LM35 as thermal...
