Yes, that is the one. Just found some old photos from that time with the resistor and without it after the removal.
My motor is also the coaster brake version. Be very careful to program the controller for temperature sensor input and do not change it after. I remember my motor suddenly running...
It seems there is a good progress and all the issues of the latest version based on v12 were addresses in v13. If someone implements the changes on 20.1.CV2, please kindly share the new motor firmware for testing.
Did you test with native mspider65 v12 version or the ported one to the 20.1.CV2? As you mentioned ESP32 and your display code, I assume it’s the first.
If this is the case, I am confident that mspider65 will very soon come with a working solution that can be easily ported to 20.1.CV2.
Doesn't it worth before jumping on the new Hype Train to have something final, working well and without known issues and bugs?
I hope that with the suggested help from mspider65 to mbrusa on the heat issues encountered and may be on this one also, we could finally have a stable version...
I had similar issues with self pedaling and sudden power burst while rotating the pedals slowly by hand with zero effort. My motor is the coaster brake version and the effect was even worse as the pedals could hit you.
While investing I also found several peculiarities not reported by others...
Hello, which is the latest recommended version that I can use for testing. On GitHub I find:
https://github.com/emmebrusa/Color_LCD_860C/tree/master/releases/v20.1C.2-860C
If I remember well reading the thread, it contains some copy paste errors and a new one is under testing but not really...
Everything depends on where on the planet Earth you are located. Even g is not constant and will vary a bit ... so to be more precise choose the value that suits your location from the url below:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravity_of_Earth
I am still not sure which value is which and how to do the calibration. If I interpret correctly your example:
- 160 - is the value of the torque sensor if 0 weight is applied on the pedals.
- 67 steps is the difference between the value with applied certain weight on the pedals and value with...
Hello, It seems there is a new release in your GitHub. Is it new functionality or bug fixing? In case there were any issues, what should we be careful about?
And the implemented changes in the code are evident and easily traceable. Same with the logic behind them. Check the link below:
https://github.com/TSDZ2-ESP32/TSDZ2-Smart-EBike/commit/320699cb9b9d5f6af7d6b944d9ba639fc279d251
And at the end of the day, this is just a suggestion for...
And what is my benefit? I do not think I have any at all in addition the time spent to read this forums. May be also the time for testing and provide feedback ...
I simply found the same or similar complains about same or similar issue in the different threads. And in the last thread there is a...
It's not about taking all the changes up to version 12. It is only about the changes between 11 and 12, that mspider65 mentions and that deal with the specific delay issue. May be the same solution could be applied in your firmware.
I am still expecting the warm season in order to upgrade from...
Hello, I am sorry for the thread cross-referencing but it seems that there is a common issue for all forks of the firmware. See the post below:
The good news is that there is progress and willingness to resolve the issue. I hope soon or later a solution will be found and implemented in all...
