These situations are why I don't use a bms. Id rather trust myself to keep tabs on it than flaky electronics.

There were a lot of fake HG2 for some time. Did you notice a lot of voltage sag early on when pushing high current?

Once christmas is in the books , I'm going to try to get the equipment to help with this testing. Notably 2C and 3C loads on M36 , 30Q, 29E, M29, VTC6, and Sanyo UR18650NSX up to around 300 cycles.

If this goes to 1k , my money is on 29E to finish with the highest capacity. His results basically reinforce everything Flippy has posted many times.

Probably too many variables to get that nit picky about it. Just stick to your 50% - 80% and don't charge it in freezing temps .

The Queen Battery QB26800 doesn't quite hit the current rating to compete with the high discharge Samsungs , but it has a whopping capacity per cell . I haven't used these personally to comment on longevity , but they apparently test well in reviews.

Even those Vruzend caps that have spring loaded contacts have to be secured with bolts basically to maintain enough pressure . Physics just isn't kind to pressure contact methods of battery building. Probably the best solution that doesn't involve welding is AmTech https://18650.lt

It does require spot welding. Those are just holders and not modules with contacts.
