    PAS only working when pedal backwards

    We hooked up a PAS and the motor doesn’t kick on when we pedal forward, but it does when we pedal back. The controller/display has a setting, which I can switch the direction of the PAS. But when I put it in forward, it doesn’t do anything. Any thoughts?

    There is no spacer because when I put the back wheel on it it’s already really tight. Do you think I need to force a spacer in there?

    I have a rear wheel with a hub motor and Shimano roller break that when I tighten up the axel nuts everything seizes up and doesn’t spin, without a lot of effort.     Hi, I need some help finding a battery to go with this ebike kit I bought. I’m looking for a 48v Hailong style battery. It needs to fit to this. Any suggestions? Also trying to stay under or around $400. Thanks for the help!
