    Controller Life and questons.

Aloha, All. I have the hksunwin 800w 60v controller and it just died on me. It was 8 months old and had around 2500 miles on it. Is this a typical life span? Here are the conditions it worked under. I cruise at 800-1500w and up to 2500 sometimes @ 64v. then why is this controller...

    Charging or is it overcharging?

Aloha, All. ok this is really weird. I accidently "over-charged" my 5000mah LIpo 4x4s=16s hardcase turnagy cells to 72v (4.5v per cell) last nite. They didn't get warm and there was a LOT of AH in the 4.5v and down. (ie the battery did not deplete quickly at all in the 4.25-4.50v range...

    CA v3 settngs

Aloha all. for my CA...is there a way to: 1) change the display to show amps rather than amp-hr remaining? 2) slow the watt display so it is readable? Now it is a blur as the wattage changes too fast. thanks Francis

    Discharging 400AH cells

It says it is for 6/12 v. How will it drain a 3.4v battery? Will it take forever? I have the smaller/plain load tester that you hold the switch on and it heats the element inside, is this the same as the Carbon Pile Load Tester?

    Discharging 400AH cells

Aloha, I have a bank of 400ah "Thundersky" 3.5v batteries and one of them is a bit high. All the others are at 3.35v and this one is at 3.5v already. How do I knock it down? I read all about toasters and heating elements here but they assume 36v or so, but mine is only 3.5. What can I...

If you are fully convinced the amps\volts controller are correct, in spite of the suggestion above. And Not able to limit your wrist action to 1/2 twist on the throttle Then you will need to: Get a Cycle Analyst to program your wattage or fashion a stopper or some block on your throttle to...

    Jerky Starts

Aloha, When starting out, the motor hesitates and goes into reverse for a split second and then forward causing a clunk. (If I slightly roll forward it is fine. I checked all my wiring and also did a "re-learn" but still happens. Probably totally unrelated, the motor is totally silent...
