I have five of them and they where almost free.
I figure I could easily get 1kwh of capacity. I don't think I can get enough solar on the roof to charge much more than that each day.
I have a few ~250w 36v (10s) battery packs.
I want to make a house bank battery for my mobile office / camping van.
I also have a panel I am planing on mounting to the roof of the van. Stats below.
The main requirement is to run an inverter.
Running things at 36v seems like it will be tricky...
Thanks.
That seems better than this: https://www.amazon.com/GERI-Converter-Module-8-50V-Output/dp/B00W52N8XW/
I do wonder if the full charge voltage of ~54.6 is an issue for something that claims it can take 50.
I am finding a lot of converters for under 36v but not 48v.
I tried the forum search (not very hard but did look).
Can anyone point me in the right direction for cheep USB supply that can accept 60v input?
Thanks
I found this:

But I think I can only use it to monitor charging or draw because my BMS has a separate charge leads.
My understanding is they are set for constant voltage, so when they voltage is reached the amps drop down to near zero when charging a battery.
Can any one chime in if that is right?
Thanks for all the ideas.
I think I am going to get a HRP-600-48.
Now to find something to monitor the charging and battery, and maybe limit the amp rate.
Some days I put a lot of miles on the bike and have to charge at one or more stops. with my 3A charger this mostly works, but I don't really like riding with less than a 1/3 of a charge.
I'd also like to be able to change the charge rate and voltage. If I had a 5A+ charger I could take with me...
I am looking to get another charger for my e-bike adventures.
Currently have a 36v and 48v L-ion packs.
I'd really like to have one charger to rule them all. Adjustable current and voltage would be great.
It's not one to rule all, but my current choice is...
A quick update.
Thanks for all the help, I got back up and running with some local help from Voltron.
Just have been busy with school and work.
Ended Summer II with a 4.0 GPA at SBCC.
