I can't desolder the turnigy servo tester, what the hell of they use on these things, my iron won't melt any of it! Looking for options on another way to make a throttle, so much hassle just to press a thumb throttle! Lol

I have no idea what a shunt is or a PAS, but I'll read up on it. Everything is so complicated just to be able to press a throttle and get it to work ☹️

Hi guys, I'm building my first ebike, I've got to the stage of being able to use the bike with a servo tester as the throttle, however each time I try to modify the servo tester to put a throttle in place I just can't get it to work! I've come to the conclusion soldering isn't my strong point...

Hi guys I have that cheap turnigy servo tester, but when I plug it in all three blue lights just flashes and doesn't control the motor, anyone know what this means, I have used it in the past to test the wiring to the motor worked but I've just tried connecting my friction drive up onto my bike...

Thanks both, I'm gonna wire up a throttle as well just wondered if it was just a safety issue for not returning to zero, rather than it could cause the motor or battery to blow up or something lol
