Simple 6s battery charger

Hi guys,

I'm building a friction drive and I'm looking for a simple cheap 6s charger, is there such a thing or will I have to fork out for one of the icharger fancy thingies!

6s makes it simple sense wires balance charger. Are you in a hurry ? Charging want ?

How much charging time do you need to use again how big is the amp drain of your controller and how many amp hour is your 6s pack

If you don't need to balance for whatever reason, you could just get one of these:

And adjust the voltage screw to 25.2v

I find as long as I'm not over-discharging them, even after 6 months of riding, they're rarely more than ~0.03 volts out - well within acceptable limits. You'd want some way to check though. If not one of these, then manually using a multi-meter.

Not sure on all the technical aspects you guys are asking, I just want to be able charger it up safely after using it, not fussed how long it takes

5000 mah is not very much what are you going to use it for ? More H K options for batteries

I know it's not much but it's just to dip my toe in the water of ebikes really, I have no idea how much use I'll get out of the battery for what I want to use it for, I was going to use it with one of these motors

Just wanted a stealthy motor with a bit of assistance on slight hills, are there any calculations to work out how long the battery will last with these motors? It's all new stuff for me!

So you want to dip your toe in. Get a cheap hub kit for under $200 and make a 36 volt battery if you nknow hobby lipo ? Do you know hobby lipo and hobby lipo charging practice.

Don't know a thing about 'charging practice', just want a charger that can charge a battery up safely, I'm doing the friction drive as a engineering project because I'm an apprentice, I like the design and machining of the mount and pivot system for the friction drive as this really interests me. So I don't want a basic hub motors, as this don't interest me

Not sure what country you're in, so if not the US, get the right plug for your country.

It's as cheap as you're going to get, and as simple as you're going to get. Set it once on 6S, it will remember it, and after that, just plug in the charge and balance plugs and hit go. Nothing to monitor, test, or tune.

Simple plug in to wall most rc chargers need a separate power supply that plugs in the wall and puts out 12 or more volts for the RC charger to hook up too. The big difference is this charger is only 50 Watts and 50 Watts takes some time depending on the size your pack. For a bike 10ah is a good start.
