fardriver nd72450 setting with qs 3000w hub

No mine is the Cacu...most have an older version I guess
There is no output from the controler?
A Bluetooth digital display will be great like the one from the Jk bms...

Cacu is no sensor.
Cacu is the controller calculating the temperarure of the windings with the settings of "rated Power" you entered, or which was filled in by Fardriver. Your shown temperature could be to high or to low, depending on the settings.


Does your motor have a temperature sensor built in? How many wires/contacts are in the hall plug?
QS uses KTY sensors.

I first set all the settings in the temp probes and cacu seems to be the one all the rest give me more 2000 C or less 40C

My temperature now seems to be real...range around 30 when ist cold and up to 70 after I used it that seems credible
I don't remember the number of cable but the plug have 9 pins so I thinks could be 9 cables

Yesterday I set gear high power output to 100% like you said...and got a little surprise...my engine just got so strong that almost went on wheely....I noticed after A while driving that when you touch this setting it automatically change your continuous and phase current settings....
So mine was like at 200A 450A... at 100%
I set it back to 50% and now it is a 100A 225A...my battery is only 10p
I'm lucky that I saw it and not blew up my battery in my intents of crazy acceleration in 3rd gear
I could almost got acceleration of 0 to 50kmh in 2 sec....crazy
I think my wheel is not straight too...have to found a aluminum swing arm too I guess

Other question ...the fardriver does stop the acceleration and diminishing the power after I got 69v...their is a way to prevent this ?
As my battery can normally reach 64v...the protection seems little anticipated or i m wrong?
 
Cacu Shows Controller temperature when you start.
If you have set rated power wrong, you will get wrong temperature calculation.
You can just try to set 1000W as rated power and then you will see what happens.

You can set battery under voltage >>>LowVolProtect
and you can set at which voltage above the controller starts to drop >>> powerLowVolWay
 
Have a lowvol way but cannot found the powerlowvolway ...

With your shown settings the controller should start to reduce power under 65V and reduce it to near zero at 63V.
 
Lowvol way is at vol 2v
So mean it will reduce power at 2v over 63v?
Lowvolrestor is at 65 v too does it mean the same thing?
The thing is when I'm at 69v for example and im going uphill my voltage probaly go down to 65v...if i set this to 63v does it will damaged my battery or ther there is no risk?
 
Yes it will start to reduce at 63V+2V.
LoVolRestore is the voltage where you will get full power again.

i never tried to spread them for more, but you can try protect with 60V and restore with 65V and you will see how the controller reacts.

You have got a 20S battery, so 60V is still safe, but i wouldn't go much lower because there is only a little capacity left below 3V.
You can go down to 2,8V per cell under load, but I would not recommand this for normal flat road use.

Problem is the controller only sees battery voltage and not SoC because your BMS does not talk to the controller.
In a consumer electric motorcycle the controller will reduce the max line current depending on the battery SOC readings from the BMS.
 
So i set lowvol protect to 60v
Lowvol restore to 65v
And low vol way at vol2v like this will drop power only at 62v and no more 65v right?
Vol2v is the minimum?
Thos soc porcent doesn't work with mybms right?
What does do "other"???

That should drop power under 62V, probably you have to change the restore to 62V.
I do not know if SOC percent works with your bms , it is not even described how the SOC gets fromt the BMS to the Controller, probably via CAN-Bus.
2V is minimum.
I do not know what other does.
 
Maybe the SOC would work because in the graph my battery indicate the porcentage of capacity and seems pretty accurate...will give it a try
 
I think the controller only measures voltage.
You can adjust the upper und lower voltage level shown on your meter in the app to make it accurate.

Let us know if SoC works for you better.
