Rechargeable, auto shuts off after 3 minutes of the bike standing still, comes on automatically at night and has indicators as well! Pretty good...

    Just an update on how the cells are performing. Very well indeed. I made a 6p10s pack for my A2B Metro and very little sag, great power delivery, nothing to complain about. Build was a PITA though, serves me right for wanting to recreate the original rear pack. Frame pack to rebuild next!!

    Thats how the original pack looks. I'm rebuilding by soldering to the tabs of my new cells in the same configuration 10s 6p. I'm using thick 32A solid copper wire to connect the cells together.

    I designed it myself as there's no pedal assist on the gen 1 or any kind of dashboard. Next job is to move from simple pedal assist to building an actual torque sensor. i.e. if you're having to push harder the throttle will ramp up to meet you so to speak. Still working out the how to detect though!

    I'm currently building a new rear pack from cells from Tumich on here. See the for sale section. Samsung 29e in a 6p10s config. I'll let you know how I get on. Could do with an empty rear case if anyone's got one!,

    If you look below the gap about an inch, there's the transistor! not sure of this design, but checking all the other one they sell, they all have a missing (or relocated) cell one transistor.

    Got mine today, very well packaged (didn't stop UK parcelforce giving it a ding, but hell I can spare one cell!). Loved that they were wrapped in pages from Hans Christian Andersen! Time to build that 10S6P pack for my A2B!

    Mine are on the way, I ordered 2 lots of the 10s4p packs of Samsung to resurrect my A2B metro, my frame pack has done over 3 thousand miles for me and I'm the third owner so not bad going. The winter killed it a bit so hopefully I'm going to build a 10s6P pack to replace it, or use all the cells...

    The 1, 2, and 3 solder pads are for assist level display, just stick 5v on them. the 4 pad didn't do anything, the RST pad does a reset when dragged to ground. I really need to get the speedo working without phase wires, reedswitch pulsed to 36v doesn't do it, how can i simulate a motor output...

    I've got one of these LCDs and want to use it on my ver1 A2B Metro, I don't have access to the phase wires (controller is potted into the wheel) any way I can use a sensor to do the speedo? tried pulsing 5v onto the wire but only get 2k shown. Also anyone tried any of the 1,2,3,4, pins marked on...
