    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

Interesting.. Juiced Riders said the same thing. So now I need to decide, road or mtn... not sure which one to use.

    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

I just hit 57 AH and 127 miles... I have enjoyed every moment except the brakes :( The front disc brake lever does not have enough throw. Don't get me wrong they work fine, just not as linear as I have been used to on hydraulic disc brakes and matched levers. They are tektro levers with...

    Bafang Bpm, how many RPM?

We need to debunk the cycle computer variable. Also what calculations are you using to get your numbers? I'm sure we could make a nice google doc to ensure proper calcs. Mine was well within limits. I'd be curious also to see the discrepancies these vendors have. Or if the controller is...

Retail E-Bike.. No time to build

So after purchasing a Juiced Riders ODK V2... I can see how doing a conversion would be pretty damn awesome for recreation! I am going to price out a bike for the wife maybe :) another 20mph wonder with a short range... might end up going lipo. more to come!

    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

Had a real nice ride with my bike today, towed along my daughter a total of 39 miles today! Started with a fresh charge, ended up pedaling most of the way downhill (500 foot elevation drop) then used the power most of the way up :) (again 500 ft elevation climb) So with 3 hours 7 minutes and 7...

I have a post on my CA problems :) http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=49944 The installation was straight forward when it comes to shunt installation but the battery outputs some noise I ran into issues with. But I found a fix action. Well worth the trouble.

Sorry to Keep hijacking your review thread, but I figure the more info on this bike in a consolidated space the better! Here is a ride review (sorta) with the Cycle Analyst in View the whole time. Really enjoying this bike and what is interesting is I guess after the issues with the charger as...

    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

So Im a numbers guy and after referencing the motor on (http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43106) a table for the BPM 48v500w 20(12) that is on this bike, looks like Tora really did a great job matching this bike to all aspects! Nominal KV for the motor is 7.231 and that puts...

    Bafang Bpm, how many RPM?

Found this post on google, and wanted to do a cross ref to a nice table here in another post http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43106

    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

So after riding more than half the battery (almost 16 miles) my CA says that with my near exclusive powered rides are getting me 21.3 watts/mile Thats not bad considering that I am going 18-21mph the whole time and chugging up hills as well as pulling my daughter in her bicycle trailer :) That...

    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

Thanks! After riding it only about 10 miles now.. and this being my first ebike.. how did I ever ride a regular bike :) this just makes riding so enjoyable! Its like the thrill of a motorcycle without the speed that kills haha

Weird Issue with a Cycle Analyst

The CA is in all purposes a CA SA. It has the same shunt but instead of it being hard wired it has the CA DP connector.

And it looks like Ambrose might have played a part upon further review of our emails ;) Zapp brannigan type action.

Weird Issue with a Cycle Analyst

So here is an update: I dug deep into my electrical knowledge from my Aircraft Electrician days... and decided to go with my gut. This is obviously noise being sent down the reed sensor and somehow getting back into the CA.. no other way to view it as such. Wrapping my hand around it just...

    Juiced Riders ODK500 (V2) 48v15ah cargobike.

Great review, ended up picking up one myself.. its my first ebike and I love it! Seems that I love the juice though :) my range estimation is only about 30 miles in the town I ride in now. which is not bad considering! I am full throttle all the time averaging 18mph up some pretty big hills...

Weird Issue with a Cycle Analyst

The CA-DP is not wired to the controller, just looks that way in the video due to the convenience of placement. The CA-DP is pretty much a stand alone. No controller input except for the shunt.

Weird Issue with a Cycle Analyst

Here is more fun! Decided to take a video to demonstrate the power supply.. I also have a picture of my Watts-Up meter hooked up... no negative wattage etc.. When I hook the watts up meter between the battery, and the shunt... the CA also does not show the negative wattage! So this is a...

Weird Issue with a Cycle Analyst

So as I was writing this post; I was thinking.. maybe eliminate the battery.. I have a 20AMP 12VDC power supply that I use to charge LiPo's etc and figured I would run that through the shunt (since my world is Anderson power poles it makes life easy).. Plugged the power supply in... no...

Weird Issue with a Cycle Analyst

So, Picked up this Cycle Analyst used from a guy her on the forum, and it checks out fine, shows the correct Amps/Watts speed etc but it has one quirk.. The details: CA-DPS 2.23 , External Shunt (1mOhm) using Anderson Power Poles on both ends. Bike is a Juiced Riders ODK V2.. Not many more...

Retail E-Bike.. No time to build

So I broke out my excel skills today, started pricing builds and factored in a couple different Walmart, craigslist, target bicycles.... Found that I wasnt going to pickup a beach cruiser for less than $120 and the ones I really wanted were just over $200. Priced a nice 500w direct drive hub...

Retail E-Bike.. No time to build

To add to my last post, seems like most retail guys are using the Bafang BPM, even Juiced (48V 500W) As I do more research and try not to rush this decision, the overwhelming nature of it is shrinking :) now to make the right choice.

Retail E-Bike.. No time to build

Thanks for all the great advice! I am by no means not mechanically/electrically inclined :) I just have two kids under two, and trying to get this all done before we leave (on 1 June) so I can have a viable solution when I get to Cali. I am pretty familiar with LiPo batteries as i've been...

Retail E-Bike.. No time to build

So, the subject says it all, I am trying to get into the e-bike world due to a change in my commute. I am selling off my 2nd car when we move to California to live on base there (im military). I had so many options in my head to try and make it cost effective as well as actually feasible. I...
