    What about the sun ringle mtx 33 or 39 rim using 13gauge butted spoke from the hub to a 14 gauge butted spoke to the rim? dt swiss iii alpine spokes say they are 13 gauge at the head and 14gauge at the threded end. would that work without filing the eyelets? if i take this to a local bike shop...

    i have a question for the experts here. Ilia Brouk at ebikessf tells me the only 26 inch rim that will fit the hookworm 2.5 inch tire on the crystalyte motor is the alex dm24. he says the rim must have no eyelets and that the only spokes that fit the crystalyte motor are the 12 gauge spokes...
