    5A from a used laptop cell is probably too much. And I see the motor does not want more than 44V? Your 12s pack would be 50,4V when fully charged. I have no experience with these motors so I dont know what the power output will be, but I guess that is up to your ESC?

    Do you know how many amps you will draw at 12s? I think 4p would be to small, but with a longboard you dont have very much space of course... I did not find info on your motor, only the 149KV one, and that was max 2250 W. If you are gonna feed your motor 2 kW, you need more than 12s4p laptop cells!
