NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

Yeah, it's not really a motor for the budget minded - or anybody, really. You can get an Astro for a lot less that'll get the job done. I absolutely didn't post about it to suggest anybody run out and buy one. I'm not sure what the deal is on those outrunners. They appear identical to the same...

NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

$1080 I think is correct - the base price is $955 and the $125 for the fan/fin option. No build thread.

NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

Oh yeah, I had no trouble paying that - in fact when I ordered, I thought it was going to be $125 for the fins plus $125 for the fan. So a pleasant (as could be, I guess) surprise when it was just $125 total for both.

NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

Costs $125 to get that addition

NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

Here ya go, I mistakenly called it a 40XX before, it's 44XX. It's got an enclosed fan built into the rear of the housing so I think the housing is what would be used on the next longer stator, and the finned case brings the diameter to just under 5". 4415/1Y

    electric unicycle (broken) need help/advice

There are so many that look almost identical except for just a couple of cosmetic differences, makes me wonder if the innards would be compatible among the different builds. 14", 3 holes up the cover by the foot rest, similar foot rest, same array of buttons/lights/whatever along the top under...

Shaft adapter, splined and threaded for freewheel and cog

Staton carries a number of freewheel thread to shaft adapters, this one is $12.29 and might even have enough material to cut the splines/grooves in the unthreaded part. http://www.staton-inc.com/store/index.php?p=product&id=986

NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

I was mistaken, the intro price was still good as of June 5, invoice was for $399. Not sure what I was thinking there. The 4015 is just an inrunner, I have more luck with inrunners. It's funny, I don't really care for outrunners but found myself ordering one. Then in mid-order found out that...

NeuMotors 70→150cm³ eq., and 1000→2000W coaxial

I ordered a 8057-100 a few weeks ago (edited wrong info on pricing) The reverse shaft option (get the drive out the "firewall" side) was $25 IIRC, the shaft is flanged and can't be simply slid back. They appear to be the same as the LeoMotion 80XX Series...

The BEST and FIRST Qulbix Raptor mid-drive build!

Apologies for the slightly OT-ness, but with the Top Hat, how do you deal with the rotor shift towards the frame when you insert the adapter between the hub and the rotor? I imagine you guys can fabricate a caliper mount that can deal with the rotor moving over however thick the adapter is - is...

    HPC Revolution XXX

If I'm not mistaken, that's a Neu 80XX outrunner. They are very similar to the Leomotion 80XX series of motors. You can get a reverse shaft option for $25 more IIRC. http://neumotors.com/80xx-series-electric-motors/ http://www.leomotion.com/pi.php/LEO-L8038-140.html

    RC throttle interface build tutorial........

Matt, I see you used a Domino throttle on a recent build. Any hints as to wire colors -> pins on the Astro servo tester? Ah, nevermind, I found a schematic Here
