    Do you have active regulation of the alternator? I mean if there is an external ecu that controls the alternator. That is usually the case with start/stop systems, and then there is usually a current/voltage sensor on the battery negative. Otherwise the alternators are usually fixed at 14,4V.

    What do your logs say? How much voltage sag? Is the current tapering off at higher speed? If the voltage sag isn't too bad and the you are not loosing power a beefier controller would help. You have already maxed out the one you have, you could turn up more, but it will probably blow fets sooner...
