    Here are the photos of it being apart nothing looks like it was rubbing to me. Is it normal for the magnets to be touching on one side and not the other?

    Yeah I'm starting to think its a magnet slightly rubbing against the casing. I know right, I really hope they are testing these things before they box them up.

    Yeah the motor has never been used yet, I have just been settings things up in the controller settings and the bike has been on a stand the whole time for testing purposes.

    will do I'm going to be opening it tomorrow. The motor spins smooth and has no rocking or anything loose feeling to it, it just started making that light rubbing noise after the wheel locked up.

    You have a good point there, on my current bike I have a full twist throttle and I'm pretty used to that. I'll probably buy a extra full twist throttle and a half twist throttle incase the thumb throttle isn't for me.

    Awesome thanks. I think I'm going to go with the 72200 its only $150 more then the 72150 and might as well have that extra headroom and better cooling. I'll give the thumb throttle a try also. Thanks again.

    That's a good idea. I might go with doing that I was thinking about having a 2nd throttle for the regen/ebrake. Maybe 2 thumb throttles like your setup. I haven't ordered my controller just yet. Do you happen to have a link to the unlocked controller so I can take a look at it? Thanks Edit...

    Thanks for the advice I checked with a multi meter and everything seemed normal when the controller was connected and I also ended up taking the motor apart to check the inside and it looked normal to me no loose magnets and any problems to the hall sensor from inside not sure what else it could...
