hi there, can someone help me on this? my controller doesn't do anything (no reaction), the led just blinking 6 times. according to the first post this means "hall sensor fault". now when i plug the motor off it does the same. also no reaction when hitting throttle and rotating wheel by hand...

    Mr. Lau 48V 15ah Lifepo4

yes, of course lifepo4 is better than SLA. but you might want to check if your battery really delivers the advertised Ah's. (i once received a 14 instead of 20Ah pack) btw: lau's tonyyan51 ebay-account just got deleted, and my cheap won auction is thus canceled as well. luckily i didn't make...

    Mr. Lau 48V 15ah Lifepo4

That Thundersky pack thing sounds interesting, and at first glance I'd say 16 20Ah cells is better than 80 4Ah cells too, but Ypedal you sound reasonable as well! I just read the thread "elite power solutions, good or bad" there's a post by usatracy which seems to prove your assumption: they...

    Shenzhen (ecrazyman) Controller Information

Hi! Can someone body explain this a little to me? When I hit the throttle, the motor doesn't react up to a certain point, where the motor starts pretty fast. This means going at low speed is impossible. It's like a minimum speed for the controller. Is that what is meant here? "30V (50V max)"...

    prismatic lifepo4 3.2v 4500mAh - a good cell?

Indeed. Buying one for testing would make sense! But as I alreaedy just have won a lifepo4 48V 20Ah auction consisting of these cells (I was just hesistating about making the payment as I found out it's Lau after finishing the auction) I'll probably try the pack, as he claimed that the pack is...

    Mr. Lau 48V 15ah Lifepo4

Hi there! Well not yet, but I'm just about to make my payment for a cheap won auction of a 48V 20Ah pack by tonyyan51, which is also one of lau chan's accounts (as I realized afterwards ) I know I could still cancel this purchase (and evenutally risk bad feedback or so) and stick to...

    prismatic lifepo4 3.2v 4500mAh - a good cell?

Hi everyone, I found this prismatic lifepo4-cell (3.2V 4500mAh, see link below) on ebay. Would you consider it a good cell? I'm sad it looks like he copy and pasted the specs from batteryspace.com as the table there looks the same (see 2nd link below). also title and sticker say "4500mAh" but...

disable LVC low voltage cutoff on 48V goldenmotor controller

hi again1! the controller has no label, just bare metal, it's the standard 48V goldenmotor contróller, thats all i can tell. ok, so i might just lower the LVS a little... yes thanks for the link, I read the first post and the LVC part, and the LVC resistors there don't look exactly the same...

    48V 20Ah lifepo4 lasts only 34 km on 5th cycle

Thanks for your input. I'll consider all yaw said. Today I could measure the amperes in idle run, it's 1,48 Ampere. Few days ago I already tested how long is goes with wheel in air: 9,1833 hours. So that's 1,48 Ampere * 9,1833 hours = 13,59 Ah!! It's obvious that this can't be no 20Ah battery...

    48V 20Ah lifepo4 lasts only 34 km on 5th cycle

Yes that is exactly what i was gonna do. I'll measure the amperes (the multimeter I get can measure up 10A) during idle run (the wheel not touching the ground) and then leave the bike running fulll speed with a fully charged battery with free wheel and see how long it takes until it cuts off...

low voltage cutoff on controller needed if battery has BMS?

Hi all! I wonder is the low voltage cutoff on the controller necessary, if the lifepo4 battery already has a BMS installed, which is said to prevent overcharge and -discharge? thanks greetings nicolai

    48V 20Ah lifepo4 lasts only 34 km on 5th cycle

Yes I see. I get 34 km with some pretty good pedaling and all flat street terrain, only going top speed ocasionally. The pack weighs 10 kg. I got it from cammy from ebay. I feel like it has much less than 20Ah. I remember seeing a thread where there was a cammy pack cammy opened, it had round...
