Hi all! I wonder is the low voltage cutoff on the controller necessary, if the lifepo4 battery already has a BMS installed, which is said to prevent overcharge and -discharge?
thanks

The LVC in the controller and the LVC in the BMS are redundant, so you really don't need the one in the controller. The battery BMS is much better since it looks at individual cell voltages.
If you set the controller LVC to a lower voltage than the BMS, it should never trip.
