    All the cells showed the exact same voltage. No corrosion on the cell groups or any of the contact spots, no smell of burnt wires or anything. Should I just bypass the BMS and just use the VESC BMS instead?

    That's a lie. If Fany told you that then he/she is lying, they can provide you with the firmware and you can flash it yourself. It will "only work for you and your controller alone". Honestly I could see you being told "no" if you your controller is out-of-warranty period.

    2 x BLDC hub motor is best for electric off-road scooters (or R.E.V.'s is what I call them) I have a lot of fun with my escooter, it's like riding a dirt bike, it can handle dirt, jumps, stunts, gravel, water with zero issues. Use a VESC over a ESC with the scooter.
